The Aquaphor Maxfor+ is a universal pitcher filter cartridge built around Aqualen ion-exchange fiber, which has roughly 33 times the active surface area of conventional filter media. That extra surface area lets the cartridge reduce chlorine, heavy metals, and water hardness for noticeably better taste and odor.
The Maxfor+ fits Aquaphor pitchers and most Maxtra-compatible jugs from other brands, so you can upgrade the filtration in a pitcher you already own.
